1. What We Collect

When you use Proposly, we collect:

  • Your email address when you create an account or sign in.
  • Proposal inputs (freelancer name, client name, project details) that you enter into the generator.
  • Generated proposal text, stored to your account history.
  • Payment information, processed and stored by Stripe — we never see or store your card details.
  • Basic usage data (pages visited, timestamps) to improve the Service.

2. How We Use It

We use your data to operate and improve the Service: generating proposals, saving your history, processing payments, and sending account-related emails (magic links, purchase confirmations). We do not sell your data to third parties, and we do not use your proposal content to train AI models.

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate Proposly:

  • Supabase — authentication and database storage.
  • Anthropic — AI model for proposal generation. Your inputs are sent to Anthropic's API to generate text.
  • Stripe — payment processing.

Each of these providers has their own privacy policy governing how they handle data.

4. Data Retention

Your proposals and account data are retained for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual proposals from your History page. To request full account deletion, reach out via the live chat on our site.

5. Cookies

We use a session cookie set by Supabase to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, reach out via the live chat on our site and we will respond within 30 days.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the date at the top when we do. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

8. Contact

For any privacy questions or requests, please reach out via the live chat bubble on our site and we'll get back to you.
